The Game Conference Armenia (GCA) is the first-ever gaming in CIS to bring the game development community together on a massive scale.
Our main objective was to create a visual identity along with materials for social media and outdoor advertising, corporate merch, and other print materials.
For this project, we created a visual identity from scratch. We based the whole visual concept on the retro gaming style. Starting off with the logo, we used elements similar to the buttons used in video gamepads. For the fonts, we applied pixelated font style, like the ones used in classic video games. The rest of the visual elements (e.g., heart, star, explosive), the wording (e.g., “loading,” “start”), and the grunge style were all taken from classic Nintendo games to convey the nostalgic gaming vibes to the enthusiasts of the community. All of this was incorporated into creating digital communications, outdoor advertising, corporate merch, invitations, and other print materials.
